Anthology of Poetry, Inc. recognizes the
best poems and short stories from the multitude of works submitted.
Our first publication, Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans®,
is now entering its 16th year. An entire generation of students
has grown up with this anthology and several have been published
more than once as they've grown in age and experience.

requirements |
-All types of poetry are acceptable
-Poems must be handwritten or typed
-One poem per poet
-The poet's full name, age and address must be included
on the top right-hand corner of all pages

By mail, using the guidelines printed here or through
the Submit Your Poem
button on this website. Students may submit work through
their teacher or independently. |

for submissions |
Submissions must be postmarked by November
30th of the calendar year. |

for selection |
-Age of the poet
-Originality
-Rhythmic sounds
-Rhymes
-Audience appeal
-Also considered are a writer's fresh approach to a
simple subject and works that exhibit the author's involvement
in the subject matter. |

process |
Approximately 55% of the submissions are selected
for publication. |

All submissions become the property of the Anthology
of Poetry, Inc. |
| Notification |
Students who wish to know if their work has been
chosen for publication need to include a 1st class postage
stamp with their submission. |

Softcover: $7.95/ hardcover: $13.95 plus $2.50 for
shipping and handling. |
| Shipping Date |
Our anticipated shipping date is August 31st. Each book
ordered is individually packaged, shipped by 3rd class
mail and should arrive within 3 weeks. |
