GOT LIGHT?

I walked down a path on a dark scary night

There was not even one tiny bit of light.

Creaking and cracking was all I could hear

Oh yikes! What if it's a large hungry bear?

I could not see anything in sight

I tried and tried with all of my might!

Carefully I walked very gently and slow

But I just wanted to run quickly and go!

My heart was beating, I was ready to fight

This was really giving me a terrible fright!

Finally, at last the end of the path

I was so relieved, I let out a laugh.

Next time when I walk down a path at night

I will definitely remember to bring a flashlight!
